Join us at one of the largest working pumpkin farms in Northern Virginia for an unforgettable field trip to the patch where the pumpkins are grown. We have been hosting pumpkin patch field trips for over 20 years, and have the experience and energy to engage your students in an amazing trip. Students will learn fun facts about apples and pumpkins, and have the opportunity to select a pumpkin right from the field where they are grown. Trip participants in late September and early October have the chance to see the live vines before the frost, and can see the actual stages of growth from flower to fruit.
Every farmer needs to know how to feed the animals! Each group gets to spend time in our farm animal barnyard to feed our safe furry friends and find fun facts about them!
Don’t forget to exercise their gross motor skills be visiting our 5 acre play area! Our 2800 sq ft Pumpkin Jumpin’ Pillow, Double Barrel 60’s slides, pedal cart track and rope swings will make your heart race! You can become a Maze Master by challenging each of our 4 mazes. See who can climb up the Rubber Ridge tractor tire mountain the fastest or romp in our Corn Bin.

With each of our field trips, bus drivers and teachers are FREE depending on group size. We are here rain or shine, and there are several covered areas during the tour to accommodate your group.
Let us provide a hot dog lunch for your group! No lugging coolers and boxes of lunches to and from the bus. Save time going back and forth from the bus and spend it enjoying your field trip and educational experience! Lunch includes an all beef hot dog, seasonal fruit, water, carrots with ranch & a home-baked cookie.
You can also combine this tour with our GEM TOUR or HONEYBEE TOUR for only $12/student and $12/parent. We recommend a minimum of 2.5 hours to complete a combo field trip
