This event is a KCBS (Kansas City Barbecue Society) State Certified BBQ Competition with each contestant competing in 4 meat categories including ribs, pulled pork, chicken and beef brisket. You can even purchase a token to judge some of these mouth watering dishes yourself with a portion of the proceeds helping Loudoun Interfaith. We have competitors arriving from all over the country with some ranking in the top 10 list in the nation! While you are here, plan on taking a hayride out for u-pick blackberries, which will be at their peak. Our berries are thornless and trellised for easy picking and are pesticide free!  Pick some early and compete in our Blackberry Bonanza Dessert contest; open to anyone who wishes to enter. In addition to all the wonderful food, cheer on your favoritelocal restaurant during our Waiters Race as they compete for the top prize. After all the excitement wind down with a wine-tasting by Bluemont Vineyard, featuring blackberry wine. Kids can also have fun in our 5 acre play area and Tye-dying one of our infamous “Got Berries?” T-shirts. You won’t go home hungry!

Country Store will be offering seasonal fresh produce, jams & jellies, honey, local meats, backed goods and great gift ideas from local artists!

Don’t forget to visit our 5 acre play area!  Our 2800 sq ft Pumpkin Jumpin’ Pillow, Double Barrel 60’s slides, pedal cart track and rope swings will make your heart race! You can become a Maze Master by challenging each of our 4 mazes. See who can climb up the Rubber Ridge tractor tire mountain the fastest or romp in our Corn Bin. Get MOOOOvin by taking a ride on the Cow Train ($2). Have a close encounter with our farm animals and do a little catch and release fishing in our stocked pond. Bring your pole; we sell worms in the country store.
