Chief Farm Operator.  Mark oversees all aspects of the farm from growing produce, maintaining the deer fence and daily operations to new business development. He is also a partner in Bluemont Vineyard.  

Kate Zurschmeide

Farmer of Fun. Kate works on marketing, CSA newsletters and communication. She also oversees the farm market team and the team for The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard for weddings and private events at the Vineyard.  Kate’s role is focus on community outreach and connections.

 

 

 

 

Bruce Zurschmeide, CPO

Chief Pumpkin Agronomist. Bruce is also the wine grower partner at neighboring Bluemont Vineyard. and supports the growing efforts at Great Country Farms that produce the peaches, strawberries and blackberries for Bluemont Vineyards amazing fruit wines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Debbie Zurschmeide-Schoeb, CEO

Chief Experience Orchestrator.  Debbie oversees all school programs and tours to the farm. She also handles all wedding and private event bookings for  the farm and for The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard.

 

 

Bob Sapp, Hayride Driver

Farmer Bob Sapp has been with us since 2010 and has reached the hearts of all our members. He is always willing to accomodate our guests and take them out to our U-Pick fields. He loves the farm and the harvest it produces and talks about it with a passion. Come take a ride with Farmer Bob on his great big tractor.
